Cari and Louw’s Festival Farm Wedding – Part One

This wedding had so much detail and special touches that I thought it well to split it in two, so you will see Cari and Louw-Part Two, on Monday. I got that warm, fuzzy feeling in my heart when I saw these amazing pictures from Jean Laurant for the first time. Jean-Laurent Gaudy Photography managed to capture every aspect and detail of this day, thank you JL, you did an incredible job!

This wedding had such a home grown touch to it. I had an amazing set-up team on my side, from brothers, sisters, farmworkers, farm children and friends were all pulled in to help. The flowers were picked in the field and each and every ornament were sourced from the homestead and antique markets. The different chairs were sourced from various suppliers, but majority of the beautiful old chairs and tables we got from Goeters in Wellington.

In And Out Events Hire did the incredible dance floor and beautiful lighting. DJ Chopper kept the crowd on the dance floor till the early hours of the morning. Mitzi, I don’t know HOW you manage to get EVERYONE on the dance floor and how you keep the party going in full steam till 4am…you ROCK!

What a Soulful day… definitely one for the books.
